Welcome to Parkmanship
We are Andrew and Ryan, the duo behind the Parkmanship Podcast and Website. We are amateur travelers trying to work our way through America’s National Park system. Our podcast can be found on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, and new episodes run monthly. Podcast episodes cover national parks related news and a subject of the month. When we aren’t running podcasts, you can look to here for our commentary on some of the best places and activities the National Park Service has to offer as well as commentary on events that affect the National Parks.
Andrew first visited a national park site with a journey to his local park, Weir Farm National Historical Park, in Connecticut. He enjoys taking landscape photos of the parks. When he is not at the parks, he can usually be found playing board games or video games with friends. Andrew’s favorite national park site is Glacier National Park.
Ryan has been traveling to national park sites since 2007. He has been to over 100 of the USA’s 423 national park sites and can be found hiking any trail within sight when visiting them. When Ryan isn’t traveling to the national parks, he can be found hiking some local trails in the Connecticut and New York area or rooting on the New York Mets and US Soccer. The first national park site Ryan visited was Cape Cod National Seashore and his favorite is Acadia National Park.
