Podcast Update

Hello all,

Andrew and I have been working hard on the Parkmanship Podcast and now our new website too. We’ve recently settled on an organization strategy for the podcast and that’s going to cause us to go on a hiatus quite soon. In fact, our next episode will be our season one finale. We have come to realize with full time jobs we just don’t have enough time to travel together in a quantity that would allow us to produce this podcast all year long. We would quickly run out of material to talk about. Therefore, we are going to adopt a June to late fall schedule for the podcast in future years. While season two of the podcast won’t start until June you will still be hearing a lot from us.

First of all, our season one finale will be released on February 18 and will focus on our trip to Killarney National Park in the Republic of Ireland.

Second, before the start of season two we will be releasing two special podcast episodes. The first will be focused on our listeners choice trip to the Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River. There’s no release date set for that yet, but it will be sometime in the late winter or early spring. The second will be released on April 22 for National Park Week where we hope to have a guest on to do an interview.

Finally, with this new website we will have numerous opportunities to produce written and visual content when we aren’t making podcast episodes. You can check out my first blog post right now where I rank the best national park sites in the North Atlantic region of the country.

Thanks for all of your support!
